“SEO for Growth” – John Jantsch ve Phil Singleton
SEO for Growth: The Ultimate Guide for Marketers, Web Designers & Entrepreneurs tells that SEO is a key growth channel for your business, but the rules of SEO have changed dramatically in recent years. The book itself was well-written. It certainly was not poetry, but the writing was clear, concise, and simple. Although I have little background in business, I didn’t find myself running for a dictionary or an online search to understand what he was saying in almost every case. The authors link to a glossary on their website, but I never had to look at it once – everything was pretty clear by context and reading on a little more. It’s not, however, an in-depth, scholarly article.

“The Marketing Book: a Marketing Plan for Your Business Made Easy via Think / Do / Measure” by Jason McDonald
The Marketing Book by Jason McDonald, Ph.D., uses the same method he deploys for his digital marketing workshops taught via Stanford Continuing Studies. It’s the “hidden manual” to marketing your business that makes it easy, fast, and fun! Buy on AbeBooks My favorite part of “The Marketing Book” is the lighthearted, entertaining way that the author digs in on topics like targeting, SEO, brainstorming, figuring out what your customers want, and much more. The chapters are divided logically, so it’s easy to skip around if you already have expertise in one or more areas.
“Product-Led SEO: The Why Behind Building Your Organic Growth Strategy” by Eli Schwartz
Search is dynamic discipline and at times a lot can change but, in the same way, the fundamentals that drive results largely remain the same. This book has those fundamentals and guiding principles applied to what it takes to drive product adoption and growth. Since SEO wasn’t something any practicing professional learned in school, it’s based on actual experience, mentorship, and applying a test and learn mentality. When it comes to SEO, success often depends not on what you do but on how you do it. That is why Product-Led SEO digs deep into the logic and theory of SEO instead of offering step-by-step guidelines and techniques. You will learn to develop your own best practices and see where most SEO strategies go astray. If your main goal is driving traffic, you are leaving sales on the table.
“Search Engine Optimization All-in-One For Dummies” by Bruce Clay and Kristopher B. Jones
You might be familiar “for dummies” series of books, they mostly cover all essential topics of the related ones for their titles and are quite easy to read, and this one is no exception. The “Contents at a Glance” are very helpful. The chapter titles and layout work well. I learned a lot from the book. I think the book’s ability to see the parts of the whole problem is well done and valuable. If you want your website to be found, you need to make sure it appears prominently on search engines. In Search Engine Optimization All-in-One For Dummies, you’ll find practical and easy-to-follow advice to increase your site’s chances of landing that coveted No. 1 spot on Google, Bing, and other popular search engines. SEO for Dummies is a great source to understand the complicated SEO for beginners. It is put in simple terms and easy to understand.
In addition to this list, if you are looking to learn the basics and easy-to-read concept books I suggest having a look at SEO for Dummies and all their marketing series.
